ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Public Safety (DPS)-Division of Fire Safety (DFS) assume no state fiscal impact.
Oversight assumes this proposal amends the law relating to the use of fireworks and would have no state or local fiscal impact.

No direct fiscal impact to small business would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act prohibits exploding or igniting fireworks within one hundred feet of a permanent structure, or within three hundred feet of any nonpermanent structure, where fireworks are stored, sold or offered for sale. Fireworks shall not be ignited or discharged within three hundred feet of any gasoline pump or gasoline filling station.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
