Officials of the Department of Transportation, the Department of Natural Resources, the Missouri department of Conservation, and the Office of Administration's Division of Design and Construction stated the proposal would not affect their agencies.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal effect on small businesses would be expected due to this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would prohibit the naming of any state or political subdivision owned facility or property after any member of the legislature or any statewide elected official while the member or official holds office.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This legislation would not affect Total State Revenue.
