FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
The proposal would require the State Board of Education to permit provisional teacher certification to a person with more than five years' teaching experience in that curriculum area and approximate grade level in another state, and permit full certification upon the satisfactory completion of five years teaching in Missouri public schools.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
