FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DOL) assume no fiscal impact to their department.
Officials of the Missouri Ethics Commission (MEC) assume this proposal will require their commission to print authorization forms, receive and file authorization forms and retain for future use. Officials stated that to perform these duties would require one part-time clerk (.50 FTE) and necessary office equipment and expense and fringe benefits, (see Fiscal Impact-State Government page 2).

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small business would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act would require labor organizations to obtain permission from a member before the labor organization could use that member's dues for political purposes.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
