FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

This proposal may impact small businesses who own rental property.



DESCRIPTION

Landlords may not forcibly evict tenants unless they first post a notice on the premises between 2 and 5 days prior to taking possession. The landlord may be liable for failure to comply.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
