DESCRIPTION
This proposal allows health care facilities which have received a non-applicability certificate of need letter by July 11, 1998, to complete and license the new beds by December 31, 1998.
This proposal also revises the definition of "health care facilities" to be consistent with federal language, and removes the phrase "any entity delivering health services whether licensed or unlicensed" from this definition.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
