SCS/HB 1385 - This act will require the elections for the public water supply district to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June, or on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in April. The act clarifies that no election is required when there is only one candidate, and adds that when there is no candidate for a given post, it shall be considered vacant and filled pursuant to Section 247.060.
At the present time the elections are allowed on the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in June, or any day specified in
Section 115.123.
