HB 1304 -- FOURTH CLASS CITIES Under current law, the board of alderpersons in fourth class cities is allowed by ordinance to pay a maximum of $200 per month compensation to board members on the planning and zoning commission, the board of adjustments, and the board of police commissioners. This bill allows members of the park board to receive the $200 per month compensation.
HB 1304 -- FOURTH CLASS CITIES (Foley) Under current law, the board of alderpersons in fourth class cities is allowed by ordinance to pay a maximum of $200 per month compensation to board members on the planning and zoning commission, the board of adjustments, and the board of police commissioners. This bill allows members of the park board to receive the $200 per month compensation. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds.

Under current law, the board of alderpersons in fourth class cities is allowed by ordinance to pay a maximum of $200 per month compensation to board members on the planning and zoning commission, the board of adjustments, and the board of police commissioners. This bill allows members of the park board to receive the $200 per month compensation. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this bill would add park boards to the list of boards that could receive compensation for services. Other boards were allowed compensation in a bill passed consent last year. Testifying for the bill was Representative Foley. OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
