An exception is made for life, disability and long-term care insurance. Genetic information shall be kept confidential be any person keeping it, with exceptions.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - Insurers are prohibited from discriminating against victims of domestic violence when issuing, renewing or canceling a policy. "Domestic violence" includes physical harm and certain sexual injuries. Insurers are also prohibited from restricting coverage, increasing premiums, denying claims or terminating group coverage. Any violation will be considered an unfair trade practice.
