SB 497 - This act corrects a conflict between two printed versions of section 278.080 relating to the State Soil and Water Districts Commission. The act requires the commission's composition to include six farmer members, three of whom must reside north of the Missouri River and three to the south. No senatorial district may contain more than one member.

The number of voting farmer members required to determine an action is reduced from four to three where a quorum of four farmer members is present. The chairman is now allowed to vote on any matter.
