SB 608 - This act removes the limitations for which counties may participate in the First Responder Program. The current program was instituted last session on a trial basis in Barry, Greene, Jasper, Ozark, Perry, Stone, Taney, Webster counties and the city of St. Joseph. The program allows the use of external defibrillators by the first emergency personnel to arrive at an emergency scene. This bill allows the program to be implemented in all counties by public and private entities.
