SB 609 - This act allows the certification of out-of-state teachers. Provisional certification would be allowed to a person with more than 5 years of out-of-state teaching experience in that curriculum area and grade level. Full certification would be allowed after 3 years of teaching in Missouri. This act is similar to SB 187 from 1997.
