SJR 12 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if adopted
by Missouri voters, provides that the rights of parents to direct
the upbringing and education of their children is a fundamental
right. It also provides that the state maintains a compelling
interest in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse and
neglect.
