AN ACT

To amend chapter 34, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to state contracts.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Chapter 34, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 34.167, to read as follows:

34.167.  1.  Any person, contractor, company or other entity that is convicted of employing illegal aliens, pursuant to the provisions of 8 U.S.C. 1324, or successor acts, shall be prohibited from entering into any contract with the state of Missouri for a period of one year following final conviction.

2.  Any person, contractor, company or other entity convicted pursuant to subsection 1 of this section, and that is under an existing contract with the state at the time of such conviction, shall be subject to such penalties or fines as provided in the contract.
