AN ACT
To repeal section 186.060, RSMo Supp. 1998, relating to the Missouri humanities council, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the same subject.
Section A. Section 186.060, RSMo Supp. 1998, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 186.060, to read as follows:
186.060. Subject to appropriation from general revenue, one million dollars may be appropriated to the Missouri humanities council. [Up to fifty percent of the] Grants made to the Missouri humanities council may be used for operating and programming expenses [and the remaining funds shall be transferred to the Missouri humanities council trust fund established in section 186.055] except that the administrative costs shall not exceed five percent of such funding.
