This proposal removes the expiration date provision from section 67.071 which allows certain first class counties and the City of St. Louis to create a program to fund local homeless organizations.
This proposal would allow counties that fund homeless organizations to continue to do so past August 28, 2000.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
