FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

The Office of the State Courts Administrator, Office of the Attorney General, Office of the State Public Defender, Department of Revenue, Office of Administration, Department of Economic Development, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, State Tax Commission, and Office of the Governor assume the proposed legislation will have no fiscal impact on their agencies.

DESCRIPTION

The proposed legislation amends the definition of "public servant" in subsection 556.016, of the Missouri Criminal Code, to include any person appointed to a position with any government of this state or any person elected to a position with any government of this state.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program, and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
