DESCRIPTION

This proposal deletes the definition of "communicable tuberculosis" from Section 199.020, RSMo, and replaces it with the definition of "active tuberculosis". Tuberculosis is considered active until cured. The proposal also adds the definition of "cure or treatment to cure", meaning the completion of a recommended course of therapy as determined by the attending physician.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
