PROPONENTS: Supporters say that two value-added cooperatives
have been formed in Missouri to build ethanol production
plants. The Missouri Qualified Fuel Ethanol Production Fund is
key to the success of the projects.
Testifying for the bill were Representative Leake; Office of the
Governor; Missouri Corn Growers Association; Missouri Cattlemens
Association; and Missouri Farm Bureau.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
