HB 209 -- Additional Associate Circuit Judge

This bill authorizes the election of one additional associate
circuit judge in Crawford County within the forty-second
judicial circuit.  This will give the county two associate
circuit judges, who will be elected in 2002.  The bill also
authorizes the Governor to appoint the additional associate
circuit judge before the 2002 election.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
