HB 326 -- NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY SPONSOR: Parker COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Federal-State Relations and Veterans Affairs by a vote of 13 to 0. This bill allows monies received from the rental of armories to be credited to a political subdivision as directed by the Armory Boards and the Adjutant General. Currently, such moneys are credited to the Adjutant General's revolving fund. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this bill allows a city-armory partnership. Cities would be allowed to use money to improve armories. The armories are only used once a month and could be used by cities.
