HB 574 -- Age for Operating Motorboat Sponsor: Pryor This bill prohibits any person under the age of 16 from operating a motorboat. Any person 14 years of age on or before August 28, 1999, will be grandfathered. Currently, persons under 14 years of age may operate a motorboat when such person is under the direct on-board supervision of a parent, guardian, or other person 16 years of age or older.
