HB 860 -- Fourth Class Cities Sponsor: Griesheimer This bill allows the mayor in fourth class cities to fill elective office vacancies with the advice and consent of a majority of the board of aldermen. If the vacancy is the mayor's position, a majority of the board of aldermen must appoint the position.
