FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



Manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of firearms would likely be impacted by this proposal.





DESCRIPTION



The proposed legislation would prohibit manufacturers of concealable firearms or assault weapons, as defined in the act, from distributing such weapons unless they are equipped with a reusable child safety lock or firearm locking device.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
