No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This act changes the maximum amount of time a County Commission of a first class county may issue a lease or concession grant for certain public facilities from five years to seven years. Further, this act changes the maximum amount of time a County Commission of a first class county may operate such facilities without seeking bids from three years to seven years. This would only apply when no private operators are interested or available.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
