DESCRIPTION

This bill repeals several obsolete provisions regarding court costs assessed to defendants for the payment of sheriff's fees.

The provisions were omitted from a bill enacted in 2000 which revised the way all court costs are assessed, collected, and dispersed.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
