DESCRIPTION

The act modifies the types of case dispositions that must be reported to the uniform law enforcement system records.

Section 43.080 requires the Superintendent of the State Highway Patrol to submit a report annually to the Governor and General Assembly on patrol salaries and their comparison to police officer salaries in the three largest police departments in the state.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
