FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Office of Administration assume no fiscal impact to their agency.

Officials from the Department of Natural Resources do not anticipate any fiscal impact as a result of this proposal.

Oversight assumes the proposal on conveyance of up to five acres of general real estate, would authorize the exchange of properties between the Department of Natural Resources and private landowners, and would have not fiscal impact on the state of Missouri.

FISCAL IMPACT - Local Government FY 2004

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

This act grants the Department of Natural Resources the power to convey up to five acres of land as part of a land trade with adjacent land owners to resolve park boundary conflicts, so long as the department receives land of equal or greater fair market value in exchange.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
