ASSUMPTION



Officials from the Department of Social Services (DOS) stated that an additional $250,000 would be required to bring the proposed Child Assessment Center (CAC) to the same level as the CAC's currently receiving funding through the DOS.

DESCRIPTION



This proposal adds the Ozark Foothills Child Assessment Center to the fourteen regional centers that are funded by the Department of Social Services.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
