ASSUMPTION
The Department of Public Safety - Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Department of Revenue state this proposal will have no fiscal impact on their agencies.
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) assumes that since the Missouri State Highway Patrol does not charge DESE or schools for bus inspections, there will be no fiscal impact on either DESE or the school districts.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal requires the State Highway Patrol to include frames on school buses as part of the annual school bus inspection.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
