ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Transportation (MoDOT) assume that since the department currently has the authority to enter into contracts for the mowing of right-of-way areas, the proposal would have no fiscal impact.

DESCRIPTION
The proposal would authorize the Department of Transportation to enter into contracts with private individuals to mow right-of-way areas.
This legislation is not federally mandated and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. Portions of the proposal may duplicate existing law.
