ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Transportation (MoDOT) assume they would install signs reflecting the new name of the designated stretch of highway at a total cost of $2,784 in FY 2001.
Officials of St. Louis County assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on the county.

DESCRIPTION
The proposal would designate a portion of interstate highway 55 in St. Louis County the "Rosa Parks Highway".
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
