ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator stated the proposed legislation would have no cost to the Courts.
Officials from the Department of Social Services stated this bill clarifies language in response to the DOS's comment memo on the previous version. The fiscal impact to the DOS remains zero.

DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation adds adult first cousins of the child to the list of relatives eligible to receive adoption subsidies.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
