Officials from the Office of Attorney General, Office of the Governor, Department of Mental Health, and City of Kansas City did not respond to our request for a statement of fiscal impact.
Oversight assumes based on responses for a similar piece of legislation from this session, that there is no fiscal impact to the agencies listed above. Oversight also assumes income from the conveyances and losses to the Fixed Asset Group will net to $0.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act authorizes the Governor to convey 13 distinct property interests held by the Department of Mental Health to Kansas City.
The act also provides that the Office of Administration shall determine fair market value for the conveyance of the parcels of land.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
