JEFFERSON CITY — Tomorrow (9-23), Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, D-St. Louis, will join St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson to discuss gun violence in St. Louis.
“Something must be done to stop black-on-black violence. It saddens and concerns not only me, but my constituents as well. It is truly distressing that innocent children are becoming the victims of gun violence that has been plaguing the streets of St. Louis,” said Sen. Nasheed. “We must all work together — communities and police — to create a neighborhood where our children no longer have to fear the streets and parks where there is far too much gun violence.”
