Senate Concurrent Resolution 1 designates January as “Sex Trafficking Awareness Month” in Missouri. As sex trafficking is on the rise in this country as a whole, it is imperative that more attention is paid to the prevalence, survivors and recovery of victims. “This legislation designates an entire month in our state to the education, awareness and hopefully prevention of sex trafficking,” Sen. Nasheed said. “Awareness can do so much for so many.”
Senate Bill 166 will allow a name change in a specialty license plate that is widely popular. The “I Have A Dream” license plate will now be the “Dare to Dream” license plate. This change will prevent any unintended copyright infringements.
