Senator Wayne Wallingford Carries On Committee Assignments

JEFFERSON CITY — Senator Wayne Wallingford, R-Cape Girardeau, has been appointed by President Pro Tem Tom Dempsey, R-St. Charles, to his committee assignments for the 98th General Assembly. “I am honored to return as vice-chairman for the Ways and Means Committee and to all the committees I will serve on this legislative session,” said Sen. Wallingford. “During the previous two years I have served on these committees, we have spent numerous hours working to improve Missouri’s tax statutes, policies and laws. I look forward to continuing this progress in efforts to build a stronger Missouri.”

“In addition to my previous assigned committees, I am honored to serve on the Rules, Joint Rules, Resolutions & Ethics Committee,” said Sen. Wallingford. “I am eager to serve on a committee that I feel holds the lawmaking procedures and decorum to the high standard in which it should be held.”
