CAPE GIRARDEAU — Senator Wayne Wallingford, has joined several other lawmakers, including fellow Senators Mike Parson, R-Bolivar, and Kurt Schaefer, R-Columbia, in calling for Attorney General Chris Koster to investigate Planned Parenthood’s Missouri operations in the wake of a controversial video in which a high-ranking Planned Parenthood official discussed providing fetal tissue to medical researchers.

“I am appalled at the remarks made by Dr. Nucatola. It is absolutely horrifying that Planned Parenthood is attempting to gain income by taking pieces from the bodies of dead babies and delivering them to medical researchers in exchange for a ‘reimbursement’ fee. They are profiting from death, and that is despicable,” said Sen. Wallingford. “I call on Attorney General Koster to immediately begin an investigation of Planned Parenthood’s Missouri operations. The people of our state have a right to know whether these heinous actions have been carried out in Missouri.”
