November-December 2010 — In this edition of Missouri Legislative Update, we show you legislation that has been prefiled for the 2011 legislative session, we introduce you to the new leadership for the 96th General Assembly, and we follow up on a legislative initaitive supported by House and Senate members to honor a Show-Me State hero.

September-October 2010 — This month's program includes lawmakers' work during the annual veto session held each September, special ceremonies taking place in each legislative chamber to honor those who are retiring from the General Assembly, and work by several different committees made up of members from the Missouri Senate and House of Representatives.

July-August 2010 — This edition of Missouri Legislative Update features two measures considered and approved by the General Assembly during this year's special session. In addition, many measures passed by the Legislature during the 2010 regular session receive the governor's signature and we show you how several lawmakers are "Standing with Stan."

May-June 2010 — In the May and June episode of Missouri Legislative Update, lawmakers end the 2010 legislative session by passing several key measures designed to streamline state government, provide insurance coverage for those affected by autism, and strenghthen ethics reform in Missouri.

April 2010 — This month's program focuses on lawmakers' work on the FY 2011 state budget, including funding for education and streamlining state departments and programs. Other stories include election reform legislation, measures to protect Missouri's unborn children, and a new addition to the Hall of Famous Missourians.

March 2010 — In the March program, we report on the Legislature's mid-way point, noting the bills that are making their way through the legislative process. Lawmakers in the House consider ethics, health care, and scholarship legislation. And senators work on bills regarding illegal drugs, bullying, and "rebooting" state government.

February 2010 — This month on Missouri Legislative Update, lawmakers focus on legislation that would allow drug testing of certain individuals, the Senate considers a bill that would give students a choice on where they attend high school, and the House of Representatives addresses a measure that tackles head injuries in high school sports.

January 2010 — In this episode of Missouri Legislative Update, lawmakers return to Jefferson City to begin the 2010 legislative session; members from the Senate and House of Representatives review their top priorities for this year, including the budget, ethics reform, and autism; the House takes a stand on federal health care legislation; and the Senate works to prepare for the 2010 U.S. Census.
