Current Bill Summary

SB 934 - This act requires the Department of Transportation to examine the congestion problems occurring at certain intersections on U.S. Highway 71. The Department must conduct a feasibility study to determine whether overpass systems should be established at such intersections. The report must be submitted to the General Assembly no later than December 1, 2004. The act also requires the Department to conduct a feasibility study to determine whether an exit onto U.S. Highway 71 off westbound Interstate 70 should be constructed.
