SB 151 - This act creates penalties for persons found guilty of poaching while trespassing. Individuals who commit this crime shall be subject to a fine of $500 in addition to paying restitution to the property owner for property damage resulting in a lower property value. Individuals who do not pay the fine or restitution as ordered may be subject to the revocation or denial of a permit to hunt or fish by the Conservation Commission. This act is similar to SCS/SB 665 (2006). ERIKA JAQUES
