SB 471 - This act allows animal chiropractic practitioners to engage in the practice of animal chiropractic without being licensed or regulated as a veterinarian. An "animal chiropractic practitioner" is defined in the act as either a licensed veterinarian certified by a veterinary chiropractic association or an individual who is licensed by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, who is certified by a veterinary chiropractic association, and who has graduated from a certification course in animal chiropractic with at least 210 hours of instruction.

This act is identical to HB 88 (2023).
