Senator Angela Walton Mosley Invites Community to Resource Fair and Backpack Giveaway

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Angela Walton Mosley, D-Florissant, invites you to attend the 13th Annual Community Resource Fair and Backpack Giveaway on Aug. 17 from 3-6 p.m. at the North County Recreation Complex. Students from the Ferguson-Florissant, Hazelwood, Jennings and Riverview Garden school districts are eligible to receive a free book bag and other school supplies, as well as enter a bike giveaway. 

“With school supply lists getting longer and the items more expensive, families can feel tremendous stress trying to budget for these important supplies,” Sen. Mosley said. “This event is not only beneficial for students and parents, but also serves to foster a sense of community by providing health screenings, voter registration, behavioral health support and senior citizen resources.”
