Senator Ben Brown Announces Bid for Majority Caucus Chair

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ben Brown, R-Washington, issued the following statement regarding his run for majority caucus chair for the upcoming 103rd General Assembly:

“Since being elected in 2022, I have established a respect-based working relationship with my fellow senators, finding paths forward and building bridges for the overall good of our state. Having witnessed the challenges of the past two sessions, I am confident that with strong, principled leadership, we can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

As majority caucus chair, I will work in tandem with all my colleagues to advance conservative policies and cultivate an environment that fosters mutual respect and common ground. I hope for a favorable vote this fall and look forward to serving in this role for the next two legislative sessions.

I expressed my desire to serve in this capacity in a letter sent to my colleagues on Sept. 3.”
