Senator Joe Nicola Takes Oath of Office to Serve the 11th Senatorial District

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Joe Nicola, R-Grain Valley, took the oath of office and was sworn in as a member of the 103rd General Assembly on Jan. 8. He represents the 11th Senatorial District, which consists of northern Jackson County.

“It was an absolute honor to take the oath of office to serve Jackson County in the Missouri Senate,” Sen. Nicola said. “I can’t wait to start working to make Missouri an even better place to live, work and raise a family.”

Senator Nicola has lived in the Kansas City area for the majority of his life and currently lives in Grain Valley. Senator Nicola and his wife, Renee, were high school sweethearts and have been married for 40 years.
