JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Travis Fitzwater, R-Holts Summit, announced a staffing change in his Senate office Friday. Ben Ridder, his current chief of staff, will be moving on to work for Sen. Schmitt in St. Louis. Alyssa Bruemmer will be his new chief of staff. Tyler Gerling, a recent University of Missouri-Columbia graduate, will be hired as his legislative assistant. “I will miss Ben, but I’m happy he is finding new places to grow,” Fitzwater said. “Alyssa has thrived in her current role and I have no doubt she will excel as chief, serving the citizens of the 10th District. This is the start of a new chapter for my office and I’m excited and hopeful to be working with these talented individuals.” Please feel free to contact Sen. Fitzwater’s office if you have any questions.### |
