Merry Christmas As 2025 draws to a close and our office prepares for the upcoming legislative session, I find myself looking forward to not only the holiday season we share together but also to the work ahead. The Christmas season is always a welcome time to slow down, gather with family, and reflect on traditions that bring us comfort and joy. For my family, that usually looks like Bing Crosby and Andy Williams playing in the house, and A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation on the tv. This year, my wife and I had the special opportunity to visit the White House during the Christmas season. Seeing the beautiful decorations was a strong reminder of the traditions that bind us together as a nation and as Missourians. The White House at Christmas stands as more than just a symbol of our government. It represents hope and the shared virtues that have been passed down from generation to generation. Serving as your senator for the past seven years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. This coming session will be my final year representing the 34th Senatorial District, and I approach it with the same commitment, care, and respect that guided me on day one. I am immensely proud of the work we have done together and thankful for the trust you have placed in me over the years. As we gather with loved ones and reflect on the year behind us, I hope you find moments of peace, joy, and laughter. I wish you a Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year. It is my great honor to represent the citizens of Platte and Buchanan counties in the Missouri Senate.
