Standing for Truth

Hello from your favorite Senator Angela Mosley! I hope all of you weathered the winter storm this last weekend and have stayed warm throughout the freezing temperatures.

In the Senate, my colleagues and I continue to oppose the plan to cut income tax by raising sales taxes and have worked tirelessly to fight for Missourians and their families who could not bear an increase in sales tax. We also spent much of our time vetting the various gubernatorial appointees and prevented the approval of certain nominees that were inappropriately appointed by the governor.

Finally, I would like to share my anger and sadness regarding the recent events in Minnesota. The lack of accountability regarding the actions of ICE agents cannot continue. I believe this kind of unchecked authority is unconstitutional, irresponsible and dangerous not only on an individual level, but an institutional one. The people of America cannot and will not stand for such gross negligence and abuse.
