Senator Tony Luetkemeyer Begins Second Term in Missouri Senate

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer, R-Parkville, was sworn into his second term in the Missouri Senate. Senator Luetkemeyer was sworn in with other returning and newly elected senators as the 102nd General Assembly began on Jan. 4.

Representing all of Platte County and a portion of Buchanan County, Sen. Luetkemeyer served as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee throughout his first four years in the General Assembly. During his first term in office, Sen. Luetkemeyer prioritized supporting law enforcement and cutting taxes for hardworking Missourians and says those issues will remain a focus of his legislative agenda in the coming term.

“I am grateful for the support I’ve received from the voters of my district, and I am committed to continuing to fight for a better Missouri each day in the Senate,” Sen. Luetkemeyer said.
