Statement from Senator Lincoln Hough Regarding Swearing in for Second Term

Wednesday, January 4, 2023

“It is an honor to continue to serve the people of the 30th Senatorial District. We have had quite a bit of success with our priorities over the past four years, and I look forward to building on those. Workforce development, apprenticeship programs and advanced degrees are at the top of this list. Along with these come new ideas for childcare, early childhood development and mental health care. Missouri needs to lead the country in these areas. Because of pro-business policies that have been enacted, which have led to strengthening our economy, we have the opportunity to discuss these investments. I look forward to working with my House counterparts and the governor’s office on our next budget.

“I want to thank everybody for supporting me and advising me on those issues they believe are critical not only to Springfield, but all of Missouri. I am looking forward to the challenges that will face us in the coming year and making Missouri a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
